Position InformationLength of Assignment:
Spring 2024-August 2024Position SummaryThe Camp Counselor participates in the implementation of Girl Qualifications (Minimum Education and Experience)Must be 18 years of age or be a high school graduate by the start of camp.
Must be available for 10 weeks of day camp and training dates that will be scheduled before camp.
Documented experience teaching or interacting with youth programs.
Must submit health history form prior to first day of work.
Must be committed to work the entire camp season and attend all pre-camp trainings.
Must hold a valid CPR/First Aid Certification by the start of camp.
Training will be available.

Physical RequirementsMay lift to 50 lbs.

The incumbent must be able to visually monitor and physically assist campers weighing up to 200 lbs.
The incumbent must be able to perform this job safely, without endangering the health or safety of him/herself or others.
The incumbent must possess endurance including prolonged standing, some bending, stooping, and stretching.
The camp operates with daily exposure to various weather conditions and animals such as bugs, raccoons, and other wilderness animals common to the area.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
