Very friendly environment and a lot of flexibility! Our organization is seeking a dedicated, hard-working, and efficient animal lover to assist with our Front desk as well as our Kennels.
While the animals care is our number one priority, this job is still very people oriented.
Responsibilities:
Involved with supervising during play time, cleaning cages & runs, bathing, exercising, feeding, and monitoring the behavior of boarded dogs/cats.
Kennel attendants provide daily care for the dogs/cats that are boarded in their kennel.
You will also interact with clients as they pick up and drop off their dogs, answer calls, emails and payments.
You must be comfortable talking to the public as well as be polite and informative.
You will be expected to work quickly and there is very little to no downtime while on the clock.
The spa gets very busy and is prided on being kept very clean so you will always have a task to do.
Requirements:
If you are in any way squeamish of feces, urine and/or other animal excretions or are fearful of large animals, this is not the job for you.
Must have physical strength to clean, mop, scrub kennels and lift 40 pound bags of dog food.
Answer phone calls, emails and greet clients as they walk-in.
Ability to work well independently, as well as within a team.
Must have 2 years professional experience with dogs/cats Previous experience with large dogs a MUST.
Must be reliable & punctual Benefits Flexible schedules (25-35 hours a week) $17.
